Every gift makes a difference! Thank you for investing in our students, our community, and our mission of nurturing students' God-given potential as they humbly serve God's world.

Did you know... As a Christian, Group 1 Independent School, Unity Christian School receives 50% of BC government funding provided to public schools. This government grant, combined with tuition, is used for our basic operational expenses. However, unlike public schools, Unity also carries additional costs related to owning and maintaining our building and providing buses, technology, equipment, special programming, and more.

We invite you to partner with us by making an impact on our students' learning environment. Designate your gift to a specific impact area, or if there is something you'd like to support that isn't listed below, please let us know by selecting Other, and we'll make it happen.
If you have any questions, please contact me or stop by my office.

BUSINESS PROGRAM

We would like to provide students with more opportunities to nurture their God-given potential in the area of business. We desire to see students grow in the areas of leadership, financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and decision-making. To take this program to the next level, we are excited to launch a student-run school store—and we need your support to make it happen!

  • Provide start-up funds for inventory and equipment to establish the store.
  • Offer hands-on learning experiences in areas like marketing, sales, and operations.
  • Create a space for students to apply classroom knowledge in a real-world business setting.
  • Foster a sense of responsibility, creativity, and teamwork as students run and grow the store.

This initiative will serve as a valuable learning tool while also strengthening our school community. Profits from the store will be reinvested into student programs, ensuring a sustainable and impactful future.

Estimated Cost: $100,000

DIGITAL SCHOOL SIGN

To better reflect our mission and ensure visibility for all, we are raising funds for a new illuminated road sign. This sign will serve as a welcoming landmark, a communication tool, and a symbol of our commitment to excellence.

  • Increase our school’s visibility to prospective families and the broader community.
  • Provide clear, up-to-date information about events, announcements, and achievements.
  • Strengthen the Unity Christian School identity with a modern, professional design.
  • Ensure safety and accessibility by improving nighttime visibility for our campus.

This investment will not only enhance our campus but also serve as a constant reminder of the incredible things happening within our school. Your generosity will help us light the way for current and future families as they join the Unity Christian School community.

See the drawing here.

Estimated Cost:  $25,000 (we have $16,000 donated to this project)

$30,000 - for the digital message board (not shown on the drawing)

ROBOTICS AND ENGINEERING RESOURCES

We are committed to equipping our students with the skills they need to excel in a rapidly changing world. Our growing robotics program is meant to teach important critical thinking, teamwork, and hands-on problem-solving skills while sparking a passion for technology and innovation.

  • Acquire advanced robotics kits and tools to enhance learning opportunities.
  • Participate in regional robotics competitions.
  • Provide training for students and teachers, ensuring a high-quality learning experience.
  • Inspire students to pursue STEM-related careers, making a tangible difference in their futures.

We have been purchasing the VEX Pro for our Robotics and Engineering classes. The Pro version provides greater learning opportunities, and it allows students to participate in robotic competitions around the province. This program will be moving into a dedicated classroom space in September 2025. We are looking to invest in the space with additional VEX and Computer Science equipment.

Estimated Cost: $40,000

UNITY SCHOLARSHIPS AND BURSARIES

At Unity Christian School, we believe every child deserves access to an exceptional education grounded in faith, no matter their financial circumstances. Our scholarship and bursary program plays a vital role in making this vision a reality, helping families in need afford tuition and giving students the opportunity to attend a post-secondary education institution. We prioritize students that are attending a Christian post-secondary school.

Your donation can make a transformative impact by:

  • Providing scholarships/bursaries for students who demonstrate exceptional academic, industrial, entrepreneurial, artistic, or athletic potential.
  • Offering financial assistance to families facing unexpected hardships or challenges.
  • Giving every student the chance to develop their gifts and grow spiritually, academically, and personally.

By supporting this program, you’re not just investing in a student’s education—you’re investing in their future. Your generosity helps equip young people to become leaders in their communities and ambassadors for Christ in the world.

Estimated Cost: $15,000 annually
