This is the swim class application for School Year Lessons.

1 Swim Class Per Week August 3, 2021 - May 28, 2022

Breaks:
Nov 22-27 (Thanksgiving), Dec 20 - Jan 1 (Winter Break), and April 4 - 9 (Spring Break)

Pricing:

One Payment Option
30 minute classes: $702 + $35 swim administrative fee || 45 minute classes: $1053 + $35 swim administrative fee
Three Payment Option:
30 minute classes: $819 + $35 swim administrative fee || 45 minute classes: $1170 + $35 swim administrative fee

There are no refunds or session transfers.
A makeup or store credit can be given only in the event of an illness with a doctor's note. If a makeup is missed, it cannot be rescheduled again.
Do not feed your child within 1 hour prior to swim class.
You may reschedule your set of classes one time within the session. Thereafter, a $10 fee for each change will be charged. If an instructor recommends a class change in the middle of a session, there will be no charge.
Children under 4 years must wear a swim diaper.
There is a $250 fee if your child has an “accident” in the pool.
Classes with only one child enrolled may be cancelled or combined with another classes. Classes with only one child will be 20 minutes in length.
SeaVentures does not guarantee specific teacher/class assignments.
School Year Registration closes October 31, 2021.

2021 Swim Programs Policies & Release

Parents are responsible for their children in the pool area while the child is not in class.

Class Minimums: A minimum number of students are required in order for SeaVentures Aquatic Center to hold a class. In the event that SeaVentures Aquatic Center cancels a class due to low registration, either the class may be cancelled/moved to another time or the class will be 20 minutes in length. We will work with you to find an alternative class in the current or upcoming session. If no appropriate alternative is available, SeaVentures Aquatic Center will issue a credit for the entire registration amount. *

Refund Policy: NO REFUNDS. We hire and schedule instructors based upon registration numbers. *

Cancellations: There are no cancellations. We hire and schedule instructors based upon registration numbers. *

Make-Up Policy: There are no refunds or session transfers. A makeup or store credit can be given only in the event of an illness with a doctor's note. Makeups are subject to class availability and are not guaranteed. We do not offer makeups for any scheduled makeups that are missed. We do not offer credits or refunds for missed classes. Makeups expire when you are no longer enrolled. We do not offer makeups for private lessons. *

Schedule Change: Schedule changes are subject to class/session availability. You may change your child's class schedule for the remainder of a session. You may do this once at no charge. Additional changes will require a $10 fee for processing. If an instructor advises a change in the middle of the session, there will be no charge. *

Illness Policy: If your child is absent from class due to illness, a store credit can be issued if a note from the doctor is presented within 7 days of the student’s absence. The note must have the dates that the child was not allowed to participate in class. No credit is issued without a note from the doctor. *

Credit Policy: Credits are issued only for an illness with a doctor’s note or pool closures. Credits are not issued for conflicts with other activities or vacations. *

Inclement Weather: All SeaVentures Aquatic Center lessons are held at our indoor facilities. Therefore, cancelations due to weather are infrequent. If we close the facility for inclement weather, we can issue a credit. *

Credits: SeaVentures Aquatic Center credits are placed on the customer’s account for future use. Credits are not redeemable for cash. If a refund is returned back onto a credit-card, a 3% processing fee is required. *

Restroom Use/ Swim Diapers: Please ask your child if he/she needs to use the restroom before class. All students under the age of four (4) years are required to wear a swim diaper with tight fitting waist and legs. No exceptions. Students under the age of 4 without a swim diaper will not be allowed to participate in class. If a child has an "accident" in the pool, a $250 contamination fee will be charged. *

Food/Drink: Please do not feed your children prior to class. There is no food, drink or gum allowed in the pool area per the health department. *

Pool Closings: SeaVentures closes its pools for the following reasons: (1) When a child vomits or has a bowel movement in the pool; (2) Inclement weather; (3) If conditions in the pool make it unsafe for students to be in the pool. When the pool is closed for any of the above reasons, a credit will be issued. *

Pool Closing Fee: If your child vomits or has a bowel movement in the pool thereby causing the pool to be closed, you will be assessed a $250 contamination and cleaning fee. Your child may not participate until this fee is paid. *

Class Check-in: Upon arrival, check if your child's name is on the roster. The rosters will be posted on the dry erase board on the pool deck. If you do not see his/ her name, please check to see if your name is on the roster (sometimes the computer registers the parent and not the child). If neither name is on the roster, please contact the front desk for details. *

Class Rules: Please go over the water rules with your child before classes begin. If your child is on the dock, his/her hands must be on the white bar, feet on the dock and head above the water. If your child is on the wall, his/her one hand must be on the wall and head above the water. These rules are to provide the safest environment for your child regardless of level of swimming. *

Seating for Parents and Siblings: Parents and siblings of swim lessons students may not sit or stand around the instructional area. Guests wishing to watch swim lessons should sit on the provided benches across the pool from the instructional area. The pool is for instructional use only, therefore, children and adults who are not in class are not to be in the pool for any reason. Please ask the facility staff for direction to the appropriate seating area. *

Swim Instructors: We do not guarantee specific teacher/class assignment. Also, if you need to speak to an instructor, it is best to wait until the class is over OR provide the store staff with your contact information to be contacted after the instructor is out of the water. *

Release and Indemnification: For and in consideration of the benefits to me from the use by me and/or my child(ren) of the facilities referred to as SeaVentures Aquatic Center and other good and valuable consideration, the undersigned, individually and of his/her heirs and personal representatives, hereby release SeaVentures, Inc., dba. SeaVentures Aquatic Center, it’s directors, officers, agents, swim instructors and other employees from any and all claims of any kind or nature whatsoever arising out of the use by me and/or my child(ren) of said facilities. The undersigned hereby authorizes SeaVentures, Inc., dba SeaVentures Aquatic Center, to treat any program participant in any medical emergency arising, during or incident to the Programs. It is expressly agreed that all programs and activities and use of all facilities shall be undertaken at the Participant’s own risk, and the undersigned represents that each of the Participant(s) is physically able to undertake any and all programs and activities provided. The undersigned, individually and for his/her heirs and personal representatives, further agree to indemnify, defend and forever hold harmless SeaVentures, Inc. dba. SeaVentures Aquatic Center, and their directors, officers, agents, swim instructors and other employees from any and all liability or loss whatever, (including any cost of defending claims) arising out of said use of facilities. *

Photo Release: SeaVentures has the right to photograph swim students and parents for online publications and flyers. *

Storing Credit/Debit Card on File: If you choose to save your credit-card information on file, SeaVentures has the right to withdraw funds from the card on file upon your request. *
