POSITION DESCRIPTION
Dolce Vita Footwear, a woman's fashion footwear manufacturer, is seeking a full-time First Cost Production Assistant.

We are a high energy, fashion-driven company and are looking for an organized, hardworking, self-motivated person to join our First Cost production team.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Daily internal communication with First Cost Team, FC customers & factories
  • Pull customer orders/PO's- review & re-cap for internal teams & factories
  • Item Set Up, PO entry and maintenance for FC division in M3 System
  • Support customer's specific system and data entry needs
  • Manage customers' process docs and make sure factories are up to date
  • Assist with line sheet creation, on-order, and production re-caps
  • Participate in the review of CFM/FIT samples and assist shipping to specific customers for approval
  • Miscellaneous production support
  • Sample management internally and with customers
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Self-motivated with strong follow-up and completion skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal communication and organization skills
  • Ability to manage tasks and meet deadlines in a high-pressure environment. This is driven by the ability to prioritize tasks based upon the degree of urgency effectively.
  • Willing to take the initiative and exercise strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently with a high degree of accuracy

This position is responsible for assisting in the analysis and forecasting of sales.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Gather and input selling information
  • Evaluate economic trends in forecasting future business trends
  • Analyze and forecast customer sales, selling plans, receipt plans, markdowns, turn, and gross margin
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's Degree in math, business, related field, or equivalent experience
  • 1-3 years experience in planning or related field
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills
  • Ability to draw conclusions and make recommendations.
