POSITION DESCRIPTION
As we grow our platform, we are looking for someone to manage our online communication and drive community engagement. The vast majority of the work will involve the daily management of our social media accounts, but as we rise out of the pandemic, the role will expand to include working with other team members to coordinate some live events. We expect this job would require at least 20 hours per week.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and implement social media strategy in coordination with our strategic plan to grow our community and scale our impact
- Generate, edit, publish and share engaging content daily (e.g. original text, photos, videos, and news) -- with support from a team of content creators using our branding standards
- Communicate with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner, and monitor community engagement
- Monitor website contact email inbox daily and relay pertinent information to our team
- Help facilitate partnerships and generate new relationships with organizations and businesses that can help us scale
- As Covid restriction ease, help activate our passion-based connection model of forging friendships across race
- Help the LoveBolt gain traction as a bold, new NATIONAL symbol of unity and change AND as a shortcut to friendship making
