SOAP Notes Blog Article Submission Form
Thank you for your interest in submitting an article to the SOECP SOAP Notes Blog! Generally, almost all articles that are submitted are accepted, although some edits may be requested by our editors. All changes will be shared with blog post authors and will require author approval prior to publication.

Articles connected to National Health Observances are due by the 15th of the month prior to which the health observance begins. For example, if you are submitting an article for National Birth Defects Month, this is due on or before December 15. A full list of National Health Observances is available on the SOECP Members-Only website (AAP login required). Once accepted, blog articles are posted on the SOECP SOAP Notes Blog and shared via the SOECP What's New eNews around the middle of the month.

Tips for Success:
  • Be mindful of the word limit! We limit blog posts to 350 words, so keep your message concise for our readers.
  • Cite your sources properly! We request AMA formatting for your references, as this is often the format requested for other publications. Click here for tips on AMA formatting.
