Colfax Art Jams takes place in Fletcher Plaza (9800 E. Colfax) on first Saturdays from 12 pm- 4 pm. Colfax Art Jams are a series of FREE concerts and performances surrounded by TRUE LOCAL artisans, and makers!

Join us monthly from April 8th- September 9th as we jam and share some amazing art along East Colfax.

We pride ourselves on being a safe space for ALL. This event is FREE for the whole family. We highlight different creatives and themes each month so no Saturday is quite like the last. Come taste authentic foods courtesy of the local food truck community.

May 13th, Picture This "A Colfax Moment"

Photography has played an important role in shaping our understanding of the world and our place in it. From war photography to street photography, it has been used to document and preserve moments in history, cultures, and societies. It has also been a powerful tool in art and storytelling, capturing the beauty, the tragedy, and the diversity of human experience.

Get ready for a culinary journey! We are excited to announce our upcoming event, 'Taste the Fax', an opportunity to discover the delicious and diverse food of our district.

Food has always been an integral part of human culture, not just for sustenance but also for bringing people together. Throughout history, food has played a central role in social and cultural events, from family gatherings to religious celebrations, and has been a way to connect with others and share experiences.

Different cultures around the world have their own unique cuisines, each reflecting the history, traditions, and values of that culture. Food is also a reflection of the different ingredients, techniques, and cooking styles that are used in different regions.

At our event, you'll have the opportunity to taste a wide variety of dishes from different cultures and backgrounds, sample local delicacies, and discover new flavors. You'll also have a chance to meet with local chefs and learn about the history and cultural roots of the food they prepare.

 

August 12th, Skate the Fax

Roll on down to Fletcher Plaza for a groovy good time! We're taking it back to the 70s and skating to the disco beat. Bring your own roller skates and relive the golden age of roller skating. Join us and let's have a blast together!

Roller skating has a long and rich history in the United States. It first became popular in the late 19th century and reached its peak in the 1970s and 80s. Roller rinks and skating clubs were a staple in many communities, and roller skating was a popular pastime for people of all ages. We are bringing it back for the afternoon!


September 9th, Dancin' On The Fax

Get ready to move your feet and groove to the beat! We are excited to announce our upcoming event, 'Dancing on the Fax', a celebration of the rich history and cultural roots of dance.

Dance has been an integral part of human culture for thousands of years. From ancient rituals to modern performances, dance has been used to tell stories, express emotions, and connect with others.
