    • Selection of Discipline Area subject (MPH + DMN students only)
    • Changing study load (full time/part time)
    • Seeking or Returning from a Leave of Absence
    • Withdrawing (please note the College's policies around withdrawing from units and courses)
  • Confirm Payment Method, including:
    • Changing payment method (e.g. requesting FEE-HELP for eligible students)

 
IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT
 
AC's new Student Gateway launched Monday 14th December 2020!
 
1. You will receive login information to access this new Student Gateway via email. Please keep a record of these login details.
 
2. Enrolment Processes:
You may begin enrolling (via Student Gateway) for Semester 1 2021, starting Monday the 21st of December.

- NEW HDR Students will need to self-enrol for their first semester via Student Gateway and submit a copy of this form.
- Continuing HDR students will have their enrolments automatically rolled over, as in previous semesters.  
Confirmation of Enrolment will appear under the 'Courses' tab in Student Gateway.
 
3. If you studied in Semester 2 2020, your grades* will be released in Student Gateway after the 18th December 2020.
 
*Please note that HDR grades are sometimes released later due to external review processes, or in cases where extensions have been approved. Your student portal will have all of your subjects and grades dating back to 2018. If you have completed subjects prior to 2018, these will appear by the 4th January, 2021.

New HDR Candidates
If you are commencing your first semester at AC (HDR candidates only), please complete this form prior to commencement to establish your desired pattern of study for your course.
 
New candidates must also self-enrol in their first unit of study via the Student Gateway.
Please refer to the Course Progression that appears when you select your study load below. This will help you identify the subject/unit(s) to be taken in your first semester, enabling you to complete your first enrolment via Student Gateway
Your enrolment will then automatically rollover each following semester according to the study pattern identified on this form. Changes can be made to your study pattern using this form. 
 
 
Continuing HDR Candidates
If you are returning from a Leave of Absence, please use this form to authorise the continuation of automatic enrolments according to your course study pattern. 
 
 
Enrolment Confirmation
Enrolment information will display under the 'Courses' tab in Student Gateway once your enrolment has been finalised each semester.
 
 
Semester Dates
Research Thesis subjects/units follow the HDR Semester dates:
- HDR Semester 1 commences on the first Monday of January and concludes on the last Friday in June. 
- HDR Semester 2 commences on the first Monday of July and concludes on the last Friday in December. 
 
Coursework subjects/units follow the standard Higher Education Semester dates outlined on the College's Academic Calendar each year.
- e.g. HE Semester 1 2021 commences Monday 1st March and concludes Friday 11th June, 2021.
 
 
Fees
Fees remain the same for a calendar year, however please allow for the possibility of annual increases in tuition fees due to CPI or other reasons. 
 
Please note that FEE-HELP is not available to Permanent Residents (non-humanitarian). Click here for more information on FEE-HELP.

Courses
The Master of Philosophy, Doctor of Philosophy and Doctor of Ministry awards are offered at all Australian AC campuses, including an online only campus.
 
Subjects/Units
Currently, all HDR subjects/units are offered online only.
 
If you are selecting a physical campus location for your course (mandatory for commencing International Students), you will notice the physical campus location description includes 'and Online'. This is to allow on campus students the opportunity to enrol in the online units offered each semester.
 
For example, if you have selected to study the Master of Philosophy at Sydney Campus in Semester 1 2021, your course will appear as "MPH21S1SYC - Master of Philosophy 2021 Semester 1 Sydney (and Online)' while the subject/unit(s) you enrol in are delivered online only.
 
Study Load Options
 
Part-Time/Full-Time
At HDR Level, a part-time study load is equivalent to 20 credit points per semester, and a full-time study load is equivalent to 40 credit points per semester.
 
International Students
International Students studying in Australia (with a Student Visa) must enrol to study a full-time load (on campus), unless otherwise approved.
 
Offshore (International students studying outside of Australia) can study either part-time or full-time, online only.
 
 
By submitting this form you agree to enrol as a part-time student. Your study pattern will follow the part-time course progression for the remainder of your studies. 
 
If you wish to change or return to full-time studies, please complete this form before your next semester (or before Census Date for the current semester).

Policies

Withdrawal

Students may withdraw from subjects without academic penalty only if notice of withdrawal is submitted via the HDR Administration Form by the Census Date applicable for the subject in question.

Withdrawal requests received before Census Date will be processed and the tuition fee refunded. Withdrawal requests occurring after the Census Date, will not be processed and tuition fees will not be refunded, except in cases where a Late Withdrawal is approved by the Higher Education Student Affairs Committee (HESAC).

If Alphacrucis defaults in the delivery of subjects, the arrangements set out in the Alphacrucis College Refund Policy* will be applied.

Privacy Legislation

Alphacrucis College requires the information requested in this form in order to provide you with education services and cater for particular student's needs. If you do not provide all the relevant information, we may not be able to provide such services and to assess your academic progress.
