All costs related to this enrolment must be paid upon the completion of this form.
 
Students who are completing the Diploma of Music Industry and have opted to nominate their fees to VET Student Loans, must have completed an eCAF, and can select VET Student Loans as a payment method for each subject (Australian citizens only). We reserve the right not to enrol any student who has an outstanding tuition or fees on their student account.

Please read the following information about VET student loans:
 
1. General information about the loan:
 
a) this is a loan from the Commonwealth, and
 
b) the loan will remain a personal debt until it is repaid to the Commonwealth, and
 
c) the loan may, until the debt is repaid, reduce a student's take-home (after-tax) wage or salary and may reduce the student's borrowing capacity, and
 
d) a student may wish to seek independant financial advice before applying for a loan.
 
2. You may be required during the course to communicate your agreement that the Secretary continue to use the VET student loan to pay tuition fees for the course (student progression and engagemen requirements).
 
3. Student will be required to complete an electronic Commonwealth Assistance Form (eCAF) to apply for Commonwealth assistance for this course. Please note that you must meet the citizenship eligibility requirements and have a current Tax File Number. For more information, please refer to the VET student loan eCAF Fact Sheet.
 
4. The maximum amount of a VET student loan that may be available for the course is $10,000. The amount of the loan cannot be greater than the student's remaining VETSL balance.
 
5. The total VET student loan debt you may incur if you receive the maximum VET student loan of $10,000 would be $12,000 which includes the student loan fee of 20%.
 
6. The tuition fees will be reasonably apportioned across three sequential fee periods. Each fee period will contain one census date.
 
Census Date Information:
 
The census date is the last day that you can:
 
a) complete an eCAF to apply for a VET student loan for your course
b) withdraw your enrolment without incurring a debt for the course or part of the course
 
If you withdraw before the census date for a course or part of a course, you will not incur a VET student loan debt for the course or part of the course and will receive a refund for any tuition fees already paid for the course or part of the course.
 
To cancel your enrolment, you must do so on or before the census date by completing a Variation of Enrolment Form.

Privacy Notice

Under the Data Provision Requirements 2012, Alphacrucis College is required to collect personal information about you and to disclose that personal information to the National Centre for Vocational Education Research Ltd (NCVER).

Your personal information (including the personal information contained on this enrolment form), may be used or disclosed by Alphacrucis College for statistical, administrative, regulatory and research purposes. Alphacrucis College may disclose your personal information for these purposes to: Commonwealth and State or Territory government departments and authorised agencies; and NCVER.

Personal information that has been disclosed to NCVER may be used or disclosed by NCVER for the following purposes: populating authenticated VET transcripts; facilitating statistics and research relating to education, including surveys and data linkage; pre-populating RTO student enrolment forms; understanding how the VET market operates, for policy, workforce planning and consumer information; and administering VET, including program administration, regulation, monitoring and evaluation.

You may receive a student survey which may be administered by a government department or NCVER employee, agent or third party contractor or other authorised agencies. Please note you may opt out of the survey at the time of being contacted.

NCVER will collect, hold, use and disclose your personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), the National VET Data Policy and all NCVER policies and protocols (including those published on NCVER's website at www.ncver.edu.au).

 

Withdrawal

Students may withdraw from subjects without academic penalty only if notice of withdrawal is submitted via the Enrolment Variation Form (Link) by 4:00pm on the Census Date applicable for the subject in question.

If withdrawal occurs up to 4:00pm on the Census Date, the tuition fee will be refunded but a withdrawal penalty may be charged to the student. If withdrawal occurs after 4:00pm on the Census Date, the tuition fees will not be refunded.

If Alphacrucis defaults in the delivery of subjects, the arrangements set out in the Alphacrucis College Refund Policy* will be applied.

 

Privacy Legislation

Alphacrucis College requires the information requested in this form in order to provide you with education services and cater for particular student's needs. If you do not provide all the relevant information, we may not be able to provide such services and to assess your academic progress.

Please note that Alphacrucis College may provide your personal information and sensitive information to third parties (eg. educational institutions such as universities, colleges and accreditation boards and Australian government bodies such as Department of Education and Training, Centrelink and the Department of Home Affairs, Tuition Assurance Scheme, Tuition Protection Service) in order to provide you with education services and assess your academic progress or suitability.
