Part A of this application is used to assess your overall eligibility in accordance to the academic entry requirements of your chosen award. Part B is the genuine temporary entrant requirement (GTE) - an integrity measure required by the Australian Government to ensure that the Student Visa Programme is used as intended.

As part of the SVP program, AC is required to ensure applicants are genuine students and genuine temporary entrants. The genuine temporary entrant requirement (GTE) is an integrity measure to ensure that the Student visa Programme is used as intended and not used by international students as a way of maintaining de facto permanent residency in Australia.
Please be advised that Alphacrucis College has a strict Copyright Policy, which reflects Commonwealth laws relating to plagiarism and copyright in Australia. Therefore please ensure your responses are in your own words and is not work that has been copy and pasted from an online website or has not been completed by you.
We will not move forward with applications that are deemed non genuine due to plagiarism.

Part C
Application Checklist
Please ensure that you attach all the documents required for entry into your course of study. Incomplete applications will delay your application.
Note: A certified (notarized) document is one that has been certified as a true copy of the original by an authorised witness like a Justice of the Peace or Solicitor.

International students are required to demonstrate English language proficiency. This may be demonstrated in the following ways:
  • Completion of at least five (5) years of secondary studies or a Certificate IV (or higher) in Australia, Canada, New Zealand, Republic of Ireland, South Africa, United Kingdom or United States of America;
  • Completion of secondary studies or a Certificate IV (or higher) in Australia within two (2) years from the time of commencement at AC; or
  • Completion of an approved English language proficiency test within two (2) years from the time of commencement at AC.

Working with Children Check (WWCC): new students enrolling in 2017 are required to complete the new Working with Children Check online. You are classified as ‘volunteers’ in Education. Submit an application online and also print a copy and upload as an attachment to your application.
If you are offshore and unable to provide an Australian WWWCC, please submit a similar Police Check or WWCC from your current location. You will still be required to provide a WWCC when you arrive in Australia.

An audition (by video) is required for entrance to this award, this is to demonstrate your current level of instrumental/vocal competence to set you up for success. This can be a simple smartphone recording, youtube link (you can leave this as unsearchable, so others don't see it) or other performance video link (note: the quality of video recording is not part of the audition). You must declare that you have enough money to pay for travel, tuition, living expenses, and health insurance for yourself, your partner (if applicable), and your dependent children (if applicable), for the duration of your stay in Australia.
The table below outlines the minimum amounts in Australian dollars (AUD) that you will need in order to be eligible to obtain a visa, and must therefore prove access to these funds. These amounts do not necessarily represent the cost of living in Australia.
Alphacrucis College (AC) must be satisfied that you have definite access to the funds you claim to possess to cover the travel, tuition, living expenses, and health insurance costs, for yourself and your family members.

Computer Literacy and Internet Access
Computer and internet literacy and access are essential skills. The College’s Admissions Policy is that students require access to computer and internet facilities. Written assignments are submitted online in typescript with some assignment topics requiring database and internet research.
