Who is Early Entry for?

Australian students and international students undertaking Year 12 or equivalent (eg International Baccalaureate) in Australia are eligible. 

Applicants with a Vocational Education and Training (VET) qualification who have completed a Certificate III or higher qualification awarded by a registered training organisation (RTO) are also eligible.

Course Selection

Australian Vocational Education and Training (VET) courses provide students with skills that employers have identified as important in the workplace. They are also generally considered to provide more practical, work-orientated skills at Certificate III, Certificate IV and Diploma levels. AC offers VET courses in Ministry, Leadership, Chaplaincy, Community Services and Music.
Higher Education (HE) awards include sub-degree level (Diploma), undergraduate level (Bachelor) and postgraduate level (Graduate Certificate, Graduate Diploma, Masters and Doctorate). AC offers higher education awards in ministry, theology, business, education,social sciences and chaplaincy.

Please note that Certificate IV in Ministry (Leadership) classes at Sydney Campus (Evening College) are held on Monday and Tuesday evenings during NSW school terms 6:45 pm - 8:30 pm.
This undergraduate short course can standalone or serve as an entry pathway into a Bachelor of Education (Primary or Secondary).

Please read the following information about VET student loans:
 
1. General information about the loan:
 
a) this is a loan from the Commonwealth, and
 
b) the loan will remain a personal debt until it is repaid to the Commonweath, and
 
c) the loan may, until the debt is repaid, reduce a student's take-home (after-tax) wage or salary and may reduce the student's borrowing capacity, and
 
d) a student may wish to seek independant financial advice before applying for a loan.
 
2. You may be required during the course to communicate your agreement that the Secretary continue to use the VET student loan to pay tuition fees for the course (student progression and engagement requirements).
 
3. Students will be required to complete an electronic Commonwealth Assistance Form (eCAF) to apply for Commonwealth assistance for this course. Please note that you must meet the citizenship eligibilty requirements and have a current Tax File Number. For more information, please refer to the VET student loan eCAF Fact Sheet.
 
4. The maximum amount of a VET student loan that may be available for the course is $15,793. The amount of the loan cannot be greater than the student's remaining VETSL balance.
 
5. The total VET student loan debt you may incur if you receive the maximum VET student loan of $15,793 would be $18951.60 which includes the student loan fee of 20%.
 
6. The tuition fees will be reasonably apportioned across three sequential fee periods. Each fee period will contain one census date.
 
Census Date Information:
 
The census date is the last day that you can:
 
a) complete an eCAF to apply for a VET student loan for your course
b) withdraw your enrolment without incurring a debt for the course or part of the course
 
If you withdraw before the census date for a course or part of a course, you will not incur a VET student loan debt for the course or part of the course and will receive a refund for any tuition fees already paid for the course or part of the course.
 
To cancel your enrolment, you must do so on or before the census date by completing a Variation of Enrolment Form

To be eligible for a VET student loan, you must meet the academic eligibilty requirements of either:
 
a) Year 12 Certificate issued by your state's Board of Studies, OR
b) Certificate IV qualification award or higher, OR
c) Achieve an Exit Level 3 or higher in a literacy and numeracy tests
 
If you choose option A or B, you MUST provide evidence of your qualification and upload it below.
If you choose option C we will contact you regarding sitting the tests.

* Alphacrucis College reserves the right to request certified copies of documents prior to admission. A certified copy is a copy of an original document that has been verified as being a true copy after the original document has been sighted by an authorised person (Justice of Peace).








An audition (by video) is required for entrance to this award, this is to demonstrate your current level of instrumental/vocal competence to set you up for success. This can be a simple smartphone recording, youtube link (you can leave this as unsearchable, so others don't see it) or other performance video link (note: the quality of video recording is not part of the audition). Scholarships
 
High Achiever Scholarships
We want to reward those who strive for the best academic results.
Your application will be automatically assessed for eligibility into our High Achiever Scholarships. Eligibility will be an ATAR equivalent grade of 85 based on your Year 11 results. Scholarships will then be awarded to those with the highest marks from the range of applicants who apply for Business, Education or Social Science courses. Recipients of the scholarship will be notified of the outcome in early December.
 
Community Impact Scholarship
Alphacrucis College’s vision is to impact neighbourhoods and nations. This Scholarship is for those who can demonstrate impact in the community. This can be through volunteering, leadership, ministries, sport, arts and cultural activities or other spheres of influence. Recipients of the scholarship will be notified of the outcome in early December. Applying for this scholarship is optional.

Commonwealth and State or Territory government departments and authorised agencies;

populating authenticated VET transcripts;

facilitating statistics and research relating to education, including surveys and data linkage;

pre-populating RTO student enrolment forms;

understanding how the VET market operates, for policy, workforce planning and consumer information; and

administering VET, including program administration, regulation, monitoring and evaluation.

You may receive a student survey which may be administered by a government department or NCVER employee, agent or third party contractor or other authorised agencies. Please note you may opt out of the survey at the time of being contacted.

NCVER will collect, hold, use and disclose your personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), the National VET Data Policy and all NCVER policies and protocols (including those published on NCVER's website at www.ncver.edu.au).

 
Policy and Procedures

Computer Literacy and Internet Access

Computer and internet literacy and access are essential skills. The College’s Admissions Policy is that students require access to computer and internet facilities. Written assignments are submitted online in typescript with some assignment topics requiring database and internet research.
