We do request that all individuals make every effort to attend a TNR-training course.

If you are unable to attend an on-site workshop, you may still be asked to complete the online training course available through the Humane Society at this link

All individuals receiving help must assume full responsibility for vet or clinic costs involved (as low as $5.00 per cat), and must agree to a donation of $25 per cat with a minimum of $100.00 to the certified volunteer assisting.

We request a minimum of $100.00 for the assistance of non-certified individuals. Beyond that, this donation amount should be based on the amount of work our volunteer will need to devote to this project, and whether they will be using their own vehicle for transport to and from surgery. The average trapping consists of approximately 20 hours of work over a one week period.

Please also note that if the volunteer needs to borrow traps from our trap bank to assist you, you will be responsible for the loan deposit, which will be returned to you upon completion of your project.

please understand we (SIFI) cannot guarantee assistance of any type - by submitting this request, you agree to be contacted by a TNR-certified volunteer in the event that she/he can assist you in the Spay/Neuter of the cats you are caring for. You understand that you will be held responsible for all clinic costs for all un-neutered cats trapped during this project, and that ALL cats will be returned to you upon project completion. You further agree to sign the corresponding "Coach/Caretaker Agreement" provided by SIFI for the purposes of this project.
