Ski Ministry Dates

Review this season’s dates for ski ministry and indicate by marking yes or no when you will be available to serve. Saying that you are interested in doing ski ministry is different from making a commitment for specific dates. New Year’s Eve weekend, and Easter Sunday are very difficult to fill, so please sign up for this if at all possible. Saying that you are available for a date does not mean that we will sign you up for every Sunday. It just means that you are available on that Sunday. We will check your preferences to see how often you want to be assigned. *

Waiver of Claims & Indemnity Agreement: I understand that skiing, snowboarding, and winter activities are inherently dangerous and involve the risk of injury and death. I understand that accidents, injuries, and death may occur as a result of my participation in the ski ministry program of First Baptist Church of Tahoe City. I agree for any accidents, injuries, or death, foreseeable or unforeseeable, to waive any claims against, and agree to release and discharge in advance First Baptist Church of Tahoe City, its council, members, volunteers and employees from any and all liability for personal injury, death, or property damage which may hereafter accrue to me as a result of such participation, even though that liability may arise out of First Baptist Church of Tahoe City, or its employee’s negligence or carelessness. I further agree that this waiver, release and assumption of risk is to be binding upon me, my child, my heirs, and assigns. I also hereby agree to indemnify and hold the entity and persons mentioned above harmless against all claims, damages, losses and expenses, including attorneys’ fees, which they may incur as a result of my participation in the ski ministry program of First Baptist Church of Tahoe City. I have carefully read this agreement, and fully understand its contents. I am aware that this is a release of liability, and a contract between First Baptist Church of Tahoe City and myself. This contract is not limited to any time period and is for any duration of time in which I serve as ski chaplain and/or participate in the ski ministry program of First Baptist Church of Tahoe City. I sign it of my free will. *
